TNT25 teams preview - Women’s
Super proud to announce we have a staggering TEN seniors and masters women’s teams attending this year.

Women's format
We have initially ranked them and split into two groups, Flamenco and Reina.
Day one will see both groups play 4 x 30 minute games each, before being re-ranked post round robin, into cup and plate groups.
Plate teams will then play 3 x 40 minute games each, to place 7-10.
Cup teams will be split into 2 group, where they’ll play 2 x 40 minute games each.
Teams coming out in first place of their group will play in the cup final , second place will play the 3v4 game, and third spot will face off for 5v6 - all 40 minute games.
Teams
With six new and four returning teams, we can’t wait to see the women’s division play out.
We have a French, a Scottish, a Welsh, a Swiss, three English, along with three, yes you read it right, THREE European select teams.
OT7 TIPSTERS We are tipping Le Passion and Triple Threat to make the cup final… it’s a big (and very early) call! However without seeing team sheets, we can’t rule out the Counterfeit Tigers, Cardiff Coyotes nor one of the Euro teams pushing them all the way.
Le Passion
Dual International Lois Lau has hand picked this women’s team, and is swapping her reffing top (2023 MVR) to don her playing kit this year. Having played for more teams than books in a library, Lau will no doubt be taking the field with the best in the business, and her inherent competitive nature will have her setting her sights on silverware.
Player to watch: Jen Hinam
The Swiss Touch stalwart, playing internationally for over a decade, is joining the Le Passion squad. When not ripping it up on the Touch pitch, she can be found running 30km trails in the mountains for fun before breakfast.
Counterfeit Tigers
A women’s regional team from the Midlands, England, are joining us for the first time in Elche, with players from the W27s and W40s teams. Following the W27s win at the England Nationals last year, going unbeaten all tournament, beating Saxons 6-2 in the cup final, and the W40s doing the same, and with excitement building from the squad, they’ll be tough to beat.
Player to watch: Jamie Cone
A long ball to die for, driving strength second to none and a Silver Medalists for England in the 2024 Touch World Cup to boot.
Triple Threat
Having formed their women's side at the end of 2024, Triple Threat have already taken steps towards entering multiple tournaments in 2025. It's a team build on a positive culture where each player is equal, work together to improve as a team and individuals alike.
Player to watch: Daniela Mendes
A staple of the team and as Captain will be leading from the front. Dani was an integral member of the England W27s side that won Silver at the TWC and will look to bring her speed & intensity to the tournament and uplift her teammates!
Euro Stars/Comets/Jets
The three Euro teams are an enigma, with an ever evolving and growing squad.
They have played in European Championships, the 2019 Touch World Cup and of course, are stalwarts and previous winners of the Touch n Tapas Championships.
They will need get to know each other on day 1 one of this tournament, to fulfill their potential, which they no-doubt will!
Players to watch: While Cécile Mas is known to everyone in the touch fraternity, keep an eye out for breakthrough players Athena Enderstein and Lesley Marshall, and established players such as Gaynor Sewell who will be keen to celebrate their return from injury after missing out on the World Cup.
Gold Diggaz
Back once again, and the keen beans from Scotland were the first to enter, ensuring zero FOMO. They had some super close games last year, losing by just one try to eventual runners up from Ireland (twice!) and by two to the winners, Eurostars.
Led by Sara Ebbet, Scottish Women’s master coach, will the Diggaz be the dark horses of the division?
Player to watch: Lainey Irvine
Like her idol, Shaun the Sheep, her speed causes havoc and mayhem on the meadow! She’s Baaaaaaad Ass!
Cardiff Coyotes
Coming third in 2023, under the guise of the Welsh Titans, more than half of the team are back this year and raring to go (to the pub!)
Having set up a up a youth section of the club last year, they’re building a great base back in Cardiff for next generations with some excellent role models to aspire to.
Player to watch: Rachel ‘Stevo’ Stevens
Can anyone talk about a seniors Welsh team, without reference to Stevo? Us neither!
5 times World Cup player, with over 100 caps for Wales, the second Welsh women to do so, ‘S-Club’ will be no doubt leading the charge both on and off the field for the Coyotes.
Bebedores de Verbena
Our second ever French team to enter, and will certainly bring the je ne sais pas(s)!
Team organiser Alexander is a CrossFit-fanatic, and so the team is likely going to be super fit and running hard all weekend.
The coaches Raphaël and Cyril are experienced national team players
Raphaël from the open category and Cyril in the M50 category,
Player to watch: Claire Grisez
Swiss Sparks
The reimagined ‘can’t touch this’ team from 2024, are back once again. Coming third in the women’s group last year, beating runners up Silkie Touch in the shootout round, they have lots to offer and with another major events worth of experience last summer, let’s see what they bring.
Player to Watch: Claudia Waetford
The LUC Touch Lakers player, living in Lausanne, with accolades including a Mainland Cup win back in 2013, followed by 2 x Euros and one World Cup, coming away with 2 bronze medals.
TNT25 teams preview - Mixed
Seven teams make up the Mixed division, coming from Scotland, England x 4, Switzerland and Germany.

Mixed format
The format will be a Round Robin, 7 x 30 minute games, culminating with the top two going into the cup final (1v2) and 3v4 playing for bronze in 40 minute games.
Those finishing 5th, 6th and 7th will play 2 x 20 minute games in a mini round robin to complete the divisions final positions.
OT7 TIPSTERS A tough call for the top spot/s, but we will take a stab at it. Big Bang v Galaxy final... There, we said it! We think the only team to potentially upset this is London Eagles...
Big Bang Europe
As a founding member of the inaugural TNT and so we will always have a soft spot for them.
Led by touch legend, Cristof, they won the first ever men’s and shootout divisions in 2022, with some excellent game play, beating the English Lionhearts, 6-4 in the final. We expect a podium finish from them.
Players to watch: Alexis and Ju as they make their first appearance with the Big Bang squad.
Galaxy London
Established in 2004 as a franchise of the Galaxy Worldwide Touch phenomenon, they join our mixed category ably led, organised and coached by Erik Černe
With a depth of knowledge and experience, Černe has accolades from both coaching and playing, so we expect a great battle for a podium place from Galaxy.
Players to watch: Gareth Revell.
Does he need an introduction? No
Will will give him one anyway? Yes
A dominant force across Europe with his club team, Raptors, Revell was also THE player (and coach) in the Wales XO for over a decade. Travelling to NZ and Aus to further master his craft, he coached numerous mainland Europe teams, as well as uncovering and honing the skills of some of the games best players, in the likes of Lois Treays.
Gareth was also a history maker in 2018, becoming the leading try scorer at European Championships, hitting 100. (Has this been matched yet?)
London Eagles
They will be a strong contender, a well established English club, from South West London. Starting back in 2011 as CSSC, they’ve evolved and rebranded into one of the biggest clubs in the UK. We can’t wait to see how they fare in their first TNT event.
Player to watch: Jon Irwin
The "Águilas" are packing with experience and are hoping the clear heads will prevail in the hot weather. Epitomising this feeling is Jon Irwin, master of countless campaigns, whose leadership and knowledge will be invaluable for the tourists as they strive to win some silverware.
Quokkas
You shouldn't underestimate the Scottish Quokkas. With Haggis, Whisky and Irn-Bru packed and ready for the trip, they have strength and depth in their ranks and are looking to make their mark at this year’s Touch N Tapas event.
Player to watch: Andy 'Hazy' Haslett.
From playing Scottish X30 at European championships, moving to play for Ireland XO at the TWC24, yet we all know his biggest accolade and achievement is being selected for the OT7 Allstars in 2023.
Swiss Bulls
The Swiss Bulls and Gin squad, under the arms length tutelage of master tactician Philly Hoops, are an invitational XO team. A tough set of results at the recent TWC, having lost four key players to injury in the run-up to the event, they will be using this championships, looking to further develop, as Anika, Arthur and Luca lead the charge.
Players to watch: Victoire and Raphael.
Both juniors players continuing to make their transition into Opens. Definitely ones to watch for sure!
Caldy
The Caldy Ravers are a social team representing the Caldy RUFC Championship club. The club’s nickname is the Ravers and the Touch tourists are ready to party!
Players to watch: Connor Windell.
The resident South African who just happens to have Irish heritage, hence representing Ireland in the 2024 World Cup.
Magic Touch
Magic Touch could be dark horses, with little known about them, we are excited to see what they bring!
TNT25 teams preview - Men's
We have 8 teams, entering this division, coming from England, Ireland, Netherlands, Switzerland and ‘Global Select’ team with players from Spain, USA and Wales too.

Men's format
The format will be a Round Robin, 7 x 30 minute games, culminating with the top two going into the cup final (1v2) and 3-8 playing for position in the Placing Games // 3v4, 5v6, 7v8.
OT7 TIPSTERS On paper, the pundits have a tough job splitting the top four teams - Allstars, Dutch Lions, Mountain Goats and Triple Threat.
Swiss Mountain Goats
Having played the bronze medal match at the TWC, the Goats will have a strong line up and be looking for silverware.
Player to watch: Creedy Waetford
The kiwi expat player-coach extraordinaire with bags of experience and Touch IQ.
Triple Threat
They will bring the vibes AND the skills. Having joined us in 2023, and still reeling in their dance off win, the young guns from London will certainly be looking to ruffle some feathers and come away with a medal.
Player to watch: Oscar Davies
London Scorpion, SETA, Canadian XO, he’s played for them all over the last year, and although he picked up an early injury ruling him out of most of the TWC, he’ll be back stronger than ever pulling the strings in the TT team.
OT7 Allstars
The Allstars have set their sights on the men’s division this year, and have a good core of International players in their ranks. Plate winners in the TNT23 Mixed division and runners up in TNT24, can they finally take that elusive top spot?
Player to watch: Gregg Cropper
With close to 100 international caps for England over 4 World Cups, he will no doubt be pointing and shouting in the middle, directing play.
Dutch Lions
The self proclaimed 'Your biggest nightmare’ - The Dutch Lions will be looking to battle for the title. Men’s division runners up at 2023 Touch n Tapas event and took the gold medal last year - can they go back to back?
Players to watch: Arko Hoondert and Bradley Bonafacio
Hoondert is a triple Dutch international, representing in 7s, 15s and Touch. His dummy in 2023 has gone down in history.
Bonafacio, represented Netherlands in his second Touch World Cup last summer. Lots of experience and the guy has wheels (and lots of stash!)
Titans and Rascals
Made up from current and ex England international seniors and masters players, they will have a depth of skills and knowledge across the board, with the likes of Garland in the middle and TWC bronze medal winner Blackburn finishing things in the corner for fun. Will they upset any of the more youthful teams, time will tell!
Rascals Players to watch: Mike Roa.
Multi medal winning middle, and Matt Hall, a workhorse that will set platforms in attack and is a defensive machine.
Titans players to watch: Simon ‘Sniffer’ Witton.
He has speed to burn whilst the Touch IQ of Brett Milligan will be a great match up in the middle.
Resulting Roosters
Resulting Roosters are a Barbarians team fed by a number of social touch teams based in Warrington, UK. If you know anything about rugby (league) in Warrington, you’ll be aware of our woeful track record in winning silverware. This tournament will be no exception. We play fast and loose with red faces and audible groans.
An unknown on the touring Touch scene, so we expect the unexpected from them.
Players to watch: Watch out for JR and TC who were both members is the 2025 Super League Touch championship winning Warrington Wolves team.
Marley Park Tipsters
Players to watch: We can't look past the experience coming from the likes of Federico Black and Tonka Selby.
Fede is deferring back to the Irish team, following his appearance for Portugal in TNT23, coming 4th.
Fun Fact, this will be Tonka's third TNT event, and will be completing the trifecta, this time as a player, following his coaching role last year, and attending as a referee in our inaugural year. He's an OG!
